MA (English) is for students who are passionate about literature, scholarly research, and writing. This literature degree opens a world of opportunities for students. This two-year course revolves around literature, that is Indian (ancient and contemporary), European, and best literary pieces from the World Literature along with a general paper on English Language Teaching. This literature course enables students to advance knowledge of literary history as well as critical theories. With three compulsory core subjects, students can choose two electives from Four Electives in the first two semester. This course enhances students’ writing and communication skills as it increases their employability.
The M.A. English Literature is a full time Programme of study spanning Two Years. Each year is divided into two semesters.

| Eligibility |
- The candidates should be eligible for admission as per CharutarVidyaMandal University criteria. Student who must have passed any Bachelor degree(B.Sc./B. Com/BCA/B.A. English/Economics/Psychology/Journalism and Mass Communication with English as a subject) conducted by the UGC recognized University or an examination of any other University of statutory examining body recognized as equivalent there to in accordance.
